BALI, GILI AND LOMBOK

ISLAND HOPPING IN PARADISE
BALI
As Indonesia’s most popular tourist destination, much has been written about the island of Bali. Whilst it’s certainly fair to say it is more developed than many other islands in this part of the world, there are still a host of beautiful areas to explore here, including majestic lakes, volcanic mountains and idyllic fishing villages where the pace of life seems not to have changed for hundreds of years. Hiring a yacht in Bali is an excellent idea if you’d like to explore some of the lesser known islands off it coast too, such as Nusa Penida. This island, along with several smaller ones around it, form a local bird sanctuary where many local species can be spotted. Whether you’re looking for nightlife, daytime adventures or just somewhere you can unwind, Bali really does have it all.
GILI
East of Bali, just off the northwest coast of Lombok, is an archipelago consisting of 3 islands: Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air. Known collectively as Tiga Gili (Three Gili) to the locals, the islands offer tropical bungalow-style accommodation to visitors, in the shade of native palm trees. With a Bali boat hire deal from us, you can plan an itinerary in the area that includes a few days (or longer if you prefer) on these islands, giving you time to enter a state of deep relaxation that’s simply not possible in most parts of the world today. And if you’re looking for a destination that offers the perfect mix of tranquil days and hedonistic nights, Gili Trawangan, with its busy night market, late-night bars and boat parties, is definitely one for your shortlist.
LOMBOK
Diving, surfing, hiking, swimming, bartering with local arts and handicraft vendors or simply soaking up some rays: Lombok has been somewhat overshadowed by its more boisterous neighbour to the west in the past but recently, more and more people are discovering just how much it has to offer. For spectacular views, hiking up Mount Rinjani is hard to beat, as are the multi-level waterfalls that can be found nearby. For relaxation, the many quiet beaches on the island provide the perfect setting. With our yacht charters in Bali and Lombok, you can visit both islands in one trip, and decide for yourself which one is the perfect holiday destination in the 21st century.
