King of the Sea
Raja Laut, which means ‘King of the Sea,’ has been cruising the tropical waters of Southeast Asia since 2005, though she was fully refurbished in 2015. Her long bowsprit and multiple sails evoke the spirit of a bygone era, resembling the 19th-century trading schooners of the Atlantic.
Onboard, there are six newly-revamped cabins, each equipped with air conditioning and modern ensuite bathrooms. With three double suites and three twin bunk-bed-style cabins, Raja Laut is one of the best suited yachts for family groups. Rich tropical hardwood walls, carved wooden panels and nautical ornaments add to the very traditional feel of the interiors.
Outside, there’s an awning-covered dining area, shaded loungers, and plenty of open deck space for sunbaking and dolphin spotting. Menus, prepared by Raja Laut’s onboard chef, have influences of both European and Asian fare—let the team know your preferences or dietary requirements before departure for a customised culinary experience.
