KOH CHANG YACHT CHARTER & BAREBOAT CHARTER
The coast is dotted with beaches and villages including Bang Bao, built on piers. Sailing around
Koh Chang is increasingly popular. Every year there’s a noticeable increase in the number of
yachts visiting the island. The archipelago is gradually getting a name for itself as a great place
to go sailing if you want to avoid sharing an overnight mooring with dozens of other yachts.
Unlike the south of Thailand, you’ll be able to sail all day and just see a handful of other yachts.
And at night, you can moor off a sleepy deserted island. Ko Chang has three main seasons, the
cool season runs from November to the end of February.

KOH CHANG
Like most of the eastern Thailand islands, Koh Chang is a quieter alternative to the bigger touristy spots. If you’re looking to hire a private yacht, Koh Chang is the perfect destination, as the waters are uncrowded and peaceful, and you can moor somewhere quiet at night. During the day, you can simply sail along until you find a stretch of beach you like, stopping for a while to soak up the sun or swim. Don’t forget to pack your snorkel to see if you can spot exotic fish under the water. With a yacht charter in Koh Chang, you can also visit charming spots such as the village of Bang Bao, a village built on a pier, and enjoy the authentic Thai experience.
Another reason to opt for a luxury yacht charter in Koh Chang is that you can hop to other islands with minimal hassle. Koh Kood is just a couple of hours away by boat, and it’s a pleasant journey with lots of places to stop and enjoy the views. Koh Kood is another island that’s undeveloped, bar a few resorts that have popped up, so you can enjoy relaxed fishing villages, seafront restaurants and unspoilt beaches. You can also visit the island’s waterfalls, without having to compete for space. With a private yacht charter from Koh Chang, you can also visit the smaller island of Koh Mak, whose flat terrain makes it popular for cycling. Hire a bike for the day and follow the island trails through rubber tree plantations, and you’ll see unique statues dotted along your route. If you prefer to be in the water, hire a glass-bottomed kayak and head out to see if you can spot turtles or rays.
