Transportation to Labuan Bajo

Labuan Bajo can be reached in many ways. For travelers who feel a bit more adventurous, a road trip is an option. Travelers can start their journey from Bali on land excursion continuing with the Ferry line through Sape, or even a boat ride from Lombok.

For travelers who are looking for easy access and a fast getaway from big cities such as Jakarta the capital of Indonesia and direct to Labuan Bajo, air travel is recommended and will be much more convenient. 

The Komodo International Airport is located at the town outskirt of Labuan Bajo on the island of Flores in East Nusa Tenggara province, Indonesia. The airport’s name comes from Labuan Bajo’s status as a departure point for tours to the nearby Komodo National Park. It will take 20 mins to the nearest port (KP3)  where travelers continue their journey by “phinisi” to be inside of the National Park Komodo.
